Italy Wine Tours by Region: Six Regions Compared
Median 143 EUR across 300 tours, from 95 in Campania to 250 on Etna. One coach day from Florence carries 35% of all the reviews.
One listing decides how good Italy looks. A twelve hour coach day from Florence holds 24,182 of the 69,255 reviews across the 300 Italy wine tours on this site, which is why the country rates 4.8, and why every average below needs a second look. The six regional pages tell you what each place is like. This page does the one thing they can't: it puts the regions side by side, with what a day costs in each, which city you start from, how far a train gets you, when the harvest falls and what the law says about the glass before the wheel. The regions have their own pages, linked as we go; here you get the comparison and nothing more.
A note on reading the numbers before you start. They come from the tours listed on this site, read on 30 September 2026, not from a survey of every tasting in Italy. They describe what is sold to visitors, which is useful, and they lean toward Florence, which is the honest reason Tuscany looks so big. Each regional page repeats the same measures, so a number here can be checked one level down.
