Vesuvius DOP Wine Tasting at a Caprettone Vineyard in Ercolano with 1700s Lava Cave Visit
The tasting takes place at the winery itself, under a pergola in its Caprettone vineyard. Caprettone is a native vine of Vesuvius, and the wines poured are Vesuvius DOP. The visit also includes a natural lava rock cave, dug by hand in the 1700s, and the terraced vineyards, which have a 360 degree view over the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius.
