Cortecorbo Winery Day in Irpinia: Wood-Fired Pizza or Ravioli Class, Lunch and 6 Wines

Cortecorbo is a small family-run winery in Irpinia, one of the major wine regions of Southern Italy, and the day is spent away from the crowds. A local winemaker welcomes the group and tells the story of the estate, then leads a walk through the vineyards and the cellar with an explanation of traditional winemaking. The cooking part is hands-on. Guests choose between making pizza in a traditional wood-fired oven or a Ravioli and Tiramisu class, the way it is done in Italian homes. The day ends with a long countryside lunch and six wines from the winery, among them the Taurasi DOCG. The dishes are picked to go with the wines.
