Private Premium Sedan Day in Saint-Émilion: Two Grand Cru Classé Estates and Pomerol
A local guide leads this private day in a premium sedan, starting with the medieval village of Saint-Émilion, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1999. The walk follows the pedestrian streets of the village named after the monk Émilion. The guide covers the history of the châteaux of the Pomerol appellations and of the Jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion, and the passion of the founders, descendants and new owners behind them. The different classifications of the Bordeaux vineyard and the winemaking techniques are explained too. The day includes three châteaux from different appellations around Saint-Émilion, each visit ending with a tasting. Visit and tasting fees are paid separately, and so is lunch. Photo stops are possible in front of names such as Château Ausone, Château Angelus, Château Cheval Blanc or, in Pomerol, Château Petrus.

The estate, surrounded by its vines, explains the work of the vineyard and the winemaking, and the visit ends with a tasting of its wines. The château may differ depending on availability. Visit and tasting fees are not included.
Office de Tourisme du Grand Saint-Emilionnais
Free time in the medieval village of the monk Émilion, on top of a hill with views over the surrounding vineyards. Buildings here date from the 11th to the 21st century. The hilly slopes are covered with some of the most famous vineyards in the world, and the panoramas invite photos.
Lunch restaurant in Saint-Émilion
A restaurant in the center of the medieval village, between Saint-Émilion and Pomerol's most prestigious vineyards. The cuisine uses the best local products from producers the chef trusts for freshness and quality. The terrace backs onto the Collegiate Church and is quiet.
