The guide is a certified sommelier and a former wine boutique owner. For over nine years the guide has run Private Wine Tours Bordeaux, and the work brings in visitors from all over the world. This half day goes to the Saint Emilion vineyards, with groups kept to a maximum of 4 people, so the atmosphere stays cozy and close. Along the way the guide explains the Bordeaux region and its wines in plain, friendly terms. Other appellations, such as Medoc, Graves or Sauternes, are possible on request by phone or through the booking account.

  1. Saint-Emilion

    Two wine estates in the St. Emilion or Pomerol appellations. The first is a family estate (or another on request), with its history, vineyards and vat rooms, the winemaking process and a tasting of 2-3 wines. The second is a Grand Cru Classé, mostly a tasting of 3-4 wines. A short walk through the streets of medieval Saint Emilion (UNESCO), with its history and main monuments. A brief stop for a snack or lunch at a local bakery (not included). Private groups can ask for additional options (extra costs may apply).
