Booking this private tour means choosing one of three routes through the Uco Valley. All share the same frame: hotel pickup in Mendoza at 9 am, a dedicated English-speaking guide, winery entry, a tasting and a lunch that changes with the season. Each route lasts 8 hours, with the return to the hotel by 5 pm. Corazon del Sol and Piedra Infinita (Monday to Saturday). The day starts at Corazon del Sol, at the foot of the Andes, where Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Mourvedre are grown and tasted. Then comes Piedra Infinita, also called Zuccardi-Valle de Uco, for a walk through the vineyards and a three-course lunch with its wines. Le Clos de los 7 (Tuesday to Sunday). This route covers terroirs at the base of the Tupungato volcano. DiamAndes comes first, with an explanation of how the grapes are grown and a tasting of four wines. Monteviejo follows, with a four-course lunch and a different wine with each course. Andeluna or Domaine Bousquet, then Salentein (Tuesday to Sunday). The first winery is Andeluna or Domaine Bousquet, with Linea 1300, Linea Altitud and Pasionado Cuatro Copas wines on the table; Bousquet pours organic wines. Salentein has a main building shaped like a Latin cross, with a two-level winery in its wings, and an art gallery. The tasting is a Reserve and two Numina wines, and lunch is four courses at the Killka restaurant. Pickup covers hotels in central Mendoza. Guests staying farther out meet at Paseo Sarmiento 129.
