Small-Group Hunter Valley Wine and Cheese Day Tour from Sydney, Pokolbin Boutique Wineries
The operator behind this small-group day from Sydney has been named Best Hunter Valley Tour Operator for 4 consecutive years. It sticks to boutique, family-owned wineries where the winemaker or cellar door host tells the story in person. The group tastes up to 20 wines at 3-4 cellar doors in and around Pokolbin, including Hunter Valley Semillon and Shiraz, some of them sold only at these properties. A guided cheese tasting with local artisan varieties shows how cheese and wine work together, and lunch in a scenic setting comes with a glass of wine. Transport is a comfortable coach through the countryside, with a local guide and expert presenters along the way.
