Sydney
Guests meet at the hotel pickup point and board an air-conditioned coach for the 2-hour drive. The local guide covers regional history and landmarks across Sydney Harbour Bridge, through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and over the Hawkesbury River.
Hunter Valley
The route passes through Cessnock, the gateway to the region's wine and tourism attractions, before reaching Australia's oldest wine region.
Hunter Valley Wineries
Two selected boutique family-owned wineries in Pokolbin and nearby come before lunch. The itinerary is flexible and favours intimate cellar doors, where winemakers share their craft, vineyard philosophy and family stories. Up to 20 wines are poured, including Semillon, Chardonnay, Shiraz and blends sold only at these vineyards.

Lunch at Cypress Lakes has hot and cold choices in a relaxed, scenic setting, with a complimentary glass of premium wine.
Hunter Valley Gardens
The coach passes the 60-acre Hunter Valley Gardens, with its Rose Garden and themed botanical displays.

How local cheese is made, and a guided tasting of artisan varieties produced in-house.
Saddlers Creek Wines
Estate-exclusive wines poured with the winemaker on hand, with insights into the valley's terroir and winemaking techniques.
Hawkesbury River
The way back crosses the Hawkesbury River and the Mooney Mooney Bridge.
Sydney
Back in Sydney after a day of food and boutique wine. Drop-off is at the original pickup point.
