Small-Group Guided E-Bike Ride to an Organic Family Vineyard in Nice
The wine maker himself guides this visit to an organic vineyard in Nice's winemaking area. He explains how good wine is made and passes on stories and techniques that have been handed down for generations. With the person who makes the bottles standing in front of you, the tasting is easier to understand. The local guides who ride with the group do more than share information. They joke, tell anecdotes and explain the vineyard, from the grape varieties to the way a blend is put together. The ride is on e-bikes, in a small group.

Meet in front of Centrum Box. It is a 2-minute walk from the Alsace-Lorraine tram stop (exit Blvd Victor Hugo) and a 10-minute walk from the Negresco Hotel.
E-bike start near Promenade des Anglais
The ride starts a few steps from the Promenade des Anglais, where the local guide meets the group and explains how the battery-assisted bikes work. Quiet backroads lead to Nice's winemaking area, with the battery helping on the rolling hills. The family-run winery is next. The winemaker talks through traditional French winemaking techniques. The estate's signature wine is tasted, followed by a slow walk through the historic vineyards. A picnic is eaten in the shade of a fig tree, with views over the sea. The ride back to Nice runs mostly downhill along the coast, with views to photograph.
