Scilio Family Winery, Linguaglossa: Etna DOC and Organic Wine Tasting, 1815 Cellar Tour
The Scilio family makes wine on its estate in Linguaglossa, and the current generation is the fifth. The winery dates from 1815, and the family treats it as a tradition to hold and pass on. The approach starts in the vineyard. Careful cultivation is meant to give the best grapes possible, so that the wines keep the character of Etna's terroir. The tour covers the historic winery and a tasting of Etna DOC and organic wines.
