Private Vesuvius Vineyard Walk and Wine Lunch, NWT Sommelier, Transfer from Naples
The vineyard sits at the foot of Vesuvius. On one side the view reaches Naples harbor and Pompeii, on the other the volcano itself. The day begins with a welcome coffee and breakfast on arrival at the winery, followed by a private guided walk through the vines led by an NWT sommelier. It ends with a private wine tasting and lunch, hosted by a fully licensed NWT sommelier. Along the way the sommelier covers the history of wine in the world, in Italy and in Campania, and the legends and stories behind the indigenous grape varieties. Guests also learn the basics of food and wine pairing, wine inspection and analysis, and any topic can be taken further on request. Since November 2024 every tasting is backed by the Master Wine Aroma Kit, which lets guests smell the aromas of white and red wines as well as common wine faults.

Sorrentino
A qualified bilingual NWT sommelier leads the walk through the vineyards. Along the way come the history of the winery, vine-growing techniques and varieties, and the legends and anecdotes tied to the indigenous grapes and the Sorrentino family. An elevated platform gives a view over Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. If agreed, the walk includes an off-the-beaten-track section of the vineyard linked to the eruption of 79 AD that destroyed Pompeii, which shows how the volcanic terroir affects the vines and the wines. After a 50-minute walk, lunch is served at the Sorrentino farmhouse restaurant: farm-to-table produce with the family's wines, led by a multilingual NWT sommelier.
