Private Tuscany Minivan Wine Tour: Three Sommelier-Picked Wineries and Pairing Lunch

A private, all-inclusive day across three Tuscan wineries, mostly in the Chianti Classico area. A Level 3 sommelier chose them for good wine in a setting that is not built for mass tourism, and each has its own character in its position, views and cellars. Hosts are usually the owners, who talk about their lives and their winemaking. Pours are generous and often include Super Tuscans. Tastings come with extra virgin olive oil and, where it is made locally, balsamic vinegar. Lunch is a food and wine pairing session at one of the wineries. The driver-guide is an English-speaking wine specialist (Sommelier Level 1 to 3) who knows the history of the area. Travel is by comfortable minivan. Food and alcoholic drinks are not allowed in the vehicle, and having breakfast before the tour is strongly recommended.
