Private Sesimbra Castle and Cabo Espichel Day from Lisbon with Azeitão Wine
This private day covers the Margem Sul, the south bank of the Tagus, for people who like nature, history, beaches and wine. It starts in Sesimbra, a fishing village under a medieval castle, with views over the Atlantic Ocean and the whitewashed houses below. The road then runs through Arrábida Natural Park, where green mountains meet the sea. Portinho da Arrábida is on the route, and for the more adventurous there is the secluded Praia da Foz. One of the region's wineries gives a guided tour and a tasting that includes the famous Moscatel de Setúbal. The day ends at the Cristo Rei Sanctuary, with views across Lisbon and the Tagus River.

Cabo Espichel
Cabo Espichel is known for the 17th-century Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Cabo and an 18th-century lighthouse above the Atlantic coast. Ocean views, walking trails and sunsets. Open to visitors all year.
Castelo de Sesimbra
Sesimbra Castle stands on a hilltop above the village and the Atlantic Ocean. The Moors built it and King Afonso Henriques conquered it in the 12th century. Inside are the well-preserved ramparts and the small Church of Santa Maria do Castelo. From the top: the whitewashed houses, the fishing harbor and the turquoise water.
Parque Natural da Arrabida
A photo stop at Arrábida Natural Park, where limestone cliffs meet the Atlantic. Viewpoints look from the white sands of Portinho da Arrábida to the outline of Cabo Espichel. Green hills, turquoise water and cliffs, with changing light from sunrise to sunset.
Portinho da Arrabida
Portinho da Arrábida, a small natural harbor with calm, clear water below the Arrábida mountains. A quiet place to rest and look at the view.
Sesimbra
Sesimbra, a seaside town and traditional fishing village with a harbor, colorful boats, a golden sandy beach in a bay and cliffs. The Moorish-origin castle overlooks the village. A possible lunch stop allows time for fresh seafood or traditional Portuguese dishes.
Azeitão pastry stop
A stop to buy and taste the cinnamon biscuits known as Esses, the traditional Azeitão rolls and a local sweet called Meme. Purchases are at the customer's own expense.
Quinta De Catralvos - Enoturismo
Quinta de Catralvos, at the foot of the Arrábida Mountains near Azeitão, mixes tradition and innovation in winemaking. A guided walk through the vineyards, an introduction to sustainable production, and a tasting of wines from crisp whites to aromatic Moscatel de Setúbal. Queijo de Azeitão comes with the wines.
Azeitao
Azeitão is a region of villages such as Vila Fresca and Vila Nogueira, which grew around historic estates that gave them their names. Manor houses, quiet squares and cobbled streets. Time to visit the village center and taste the tortas de Azeitão, small sweet rolls typical of the region.
