Arrábida Day from Lisbon for Max 8: Two Family Wineries, Tile Workshop, Sesimbra
The group is capped at 8 people and heads south from Lisbon, crossing the Tejo River and passing the 25 de Abril Bridge, often called the Portuguese Golden Gate Bridge. The day covers beaches, cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean, historic fortifications and the fishing village of Sesimbra. In Arrábida UNESCO Park there is an isolated monastery, and at a local workshop there is tile art to look at. Two family-owned wineries are on the route. Seven wines are tasted in total, with pastries and a surprising local cheese. The last stop before the return is the Christ the King statue, for a view of Lisbon.
