This wine day in the Arrábida region starts at the Mercado do Livramento, where the stalls sell fresh produce and traditional local foods. The route then climbs into the Serra da Arrábida, a mountain range with its own microclimate that suits the vineyards below it. A handcrafted tile factory is next, with three techniques on show. Azulejo painting is done by hand on ceramic tiles. The stencil technique repeats a pattern. The relief technique adds texture by sculpting the surface of the tile. The day ends with tastings at two local wineries, where Arrábida wines come with regional snacks. Hotel pickup is included.
