Private Kakheti Day from Tbilisi: Gremi, Kvareli Wine Cave and Sighnaghi
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
TbilisiThis private day trip from Tbilisi follows a long route through Kakheti with a driver-guide and no crowd. Flexibility is the point: the group sets the pace, and stops can be stretched where they are most interesting. The road crosses the Gombori Pass and continues to the Gremi complex, then to the Kvareli Wine Cave, cut into the mountain. The route ends at Sighnaghi, the City of Love, and at Bodbe Monastery, before a tasting at KTW Wine Factory. The KTW tasting is complimentary. Tastings and masterclasses at the Wine Cave, bread baking, churchkhela making and lunch in Sighnaghi are optional. Kakheti is often called the cradle of Georgian winemaking, and the stops were chosen to show that history alongside the scenery.
