KartU Tours runs this private day in Kakheti with a stated 12 years in Georgian tourism. The pace is set by the guests, not by a group schedule, and the vehicle is a high-end car for the road. Entrance fees and tasting schedules are handled by the operator, so there is nothing to plan. The route leans on local contact rather than big names alone. It includes a small family cellar, a stop at Bodbe Monastery, a walk through Sighnaghi and a finish at the Kindzmarauli wine factory. The operator says it picks authentic family wineries and less-visited spots where guests can meet locals.

  1. Gurami Papa's Winery

The guide and driver meet guests in the hotel lobby and head for Kakheti. The first stop is a traditional family-run wine cellar, where the difference between big factories and small artisanal cellars shows. Homemade cheese and fresh bread are tasted, and organic, natural wine can be bought.

  2. Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino

Bodbe Monastery, the resting place of Saint Nino, is a peaceful, holy site among tall cypress trees and flowers, with views of the Alazani Valley.

  3. Sighnaghi

A walk through the narrow cobblestone streets of the City of Love, known for its architecture and the long defensive wall around it. There is time for photos.

  4. Kindzmarauli Corporation Wine House

The last stop is the Kindzmarauli wine factory: a guided tour of the large facility on how modern wine is made, and a tasting of several Kindzmarauli wines. Then the drive back to the hotel in Tbilisi.
