Spier Wine Farm
A classic Stellenbosch wine farm with old trees, big vineyards and a river, focused on ethical farming and creativity. Six wine ranges, including organic, vegan and Cap Classique. One of three tastings in the Tasting Room beside the dam or on the verandah, with platters or a chocolate pairing, or a glass at the Spier Hotel Wine Bar.
Rust en Vrede Tasting Room
One of Stellenbosch's most esteemed wineries, known for red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. The estate dates to the late 17th century, has won many awards and follows sustainable wine production.
Delaire Graff Estate
A wine estate founded in the early 2000s by diamond magnate Laurence Graff, with vineyards, a hotel and fine dining. It sits on top of the Helshoogte Pass, with panoramic views of the Stellenbosch Winelands, and shows art alongside its tastings.
