This is a private wine-tasting day from Marseille with an English-speaking driver. It covers two Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine domains and a walk through the historic city of Avignon, including landmarks such as the Pope's Palace. In Avignon the stops are the 14th-century Pope's Palace and the Pont d'Avignon. The group then drives to the medieval village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for lunch with local wines. The vineyards include Les Caves St Charles, Château La Nerthe and Domaine de Beaurenard, where traditional and modern winemaking meet in the tastings.
