Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Luberon Wine Day Trip from Avignon, Two Tastings and Gordes
A full day of wine from Avignon, driven by a local guide who speaks English or Spanish. The route is built around two tastings in two different places: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, then the Luberon. Vineyards are picked in advance, so the day covers two distinct corners of Provence wine country instead of a single cellar. Between the tastings the road runs through Luberon countryside and past Gordes, one of the villages classified among the most beautiful in France.

The day begins in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, known for its wine worldwide. A first tasting comes before a walk up to the ruins of the castle. Two more vineyards follow, chosen by the driver to cover the Côtes du Rhône appellation.
