Private Day Trip: Codorniu Cava Cellars by Underground Train and Montserrat Abbey
A private day from Barcelona that pairs the Codorniu Cava Cellars with Montserrat. A local guide collects the group at the hotel and drives them by car, first to the historic Codorniu cellars in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. The cellars are an Art Nouveau landmark, and a guided underground train ride runs through their vast galleries. A wine expert then leads a tasting of two different cavas. The second half is Montserrat. The group visits the Basilica and sees La Moreneta with skip-the-line tickets, then takes a gentle walk to panoramic viewpoints toward the Cross of Sant Miquel. A stop at the local market follows. The day is family-friendly and suitable for children. An optional buffet lunch can be paid for on site. Tickets to the boys' choir depend on availability, need an advance request and carry an extra charge.
