Montefioralle
Montefioralle is a small walled village on the Chianti hills, built as a typical Tuscan castle and a good example of medieval life in Tuscany.
Greve in Chianti
Greve is known as the Capital of Chianti and sits in a valley with some of the best-known wineries. Stop in its main square to look around, shop or have a cappuccino.

Another Chianti hilltop village, Panzano has views over the "Golden Vase," the valley below the village where the Pesa river runs.

A well-rated winery close to Radda. The cellar tour explains how Chianti Classico and extra virgin olive oil, the two main products of the area, are made. Lunch follows, pairing homemade food with tastings of different wines.
Castellina In Chianti
After lunch a second producer welcomes you at a second winery and walks you through the vineyards and the cellar, followed by a second tasting.
