Private Arrábida Day from Lisbon: Two Wineries, Market and Tile Workshop
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
LisbonThis private day in Arrábida is guided by locals who know the region beyond the obvious. The route runs through a stretch of Portugal where the mountains drop into the ocean, with stops at viewpoints, small towns and wineries. The pace is easy and flexible, so the day does not feel rushed. Two wineries are chosen for the day, from established producers to more personal ones. Between them come short walks, scenery and a relaxed lunch stop, paid separately, at a place that suits the day. The stops include the Mercado do Livramento and a traditional azulejo workshop. Because the tour is private, there is room for conversation and for changing things along the way.

Mercado do Livramento
The Mercado do Livramento is one of the most authentic food markets in the country, with fresh fish, local produce, cheeses and pastries. There is time to wander and try something small.
Quinta De Catralvos - Enoturismo
Quinta de Catralvos is one of the wineries the day can include. Two are chosen for quality and character. Tastings are guided but informal.
Jose Maria de Fonseca
José Maria da Fonseca is another possible winery. Tastings are guided but informal, enough to understand what is in the glass.
Bacalhoa Vinhos de Portugal
Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal is also on the list of wineries. Two are visited in total, and the tasting is guided without being a lecture.
Quinta do Piloto
Quinta do Piloto is a further option among the wineries. The guide picks two for the day.
Quinta do Alcube
Quinta do Alcube completes the list of wineries the day can draw on. Two are visited, each with an informal guided tasting.
Azulejos de Azeitao
A traditional azulejo atelier, where Portuguese tiles are still made by hand. A short stop on craft, history and local identity.
Portinho da Arrabida
Depending on the day, the route may pass small towns or quieter viewpoints that standard itineraries skip, at Portinho da Arrábida and along the way.
