Pompeii Roman Amphora Wine Tasting with Neapolitan Lunch, Necropolis Stop and 6 Wines
The Tasting Pompeii Tour runs daily from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Bosco de' Medici estate. It covers more than wine: the route follows the history of the estate and its ties to the land of Pompeii, including the revival of Roman amphora winemaking as it was done 2,000 years ago. The visit passes through the 18th-century farmhouse, the experimental vineyard, a stop at the Necropolis of 79 AD, the winemaking room and the refining room with its wooden barrels and amphorae. A guided tasting follows, paired with a typical Neapolitan lunch.

Bosco de Medici Winery
A walk through the Bosco de' Medici estate: the 18th-century farmhouse, the experimental vineyard, the Necropolis of 79 AD and the winemaking and refining rooms, where wine is still made with ancient Roman techniques. Lunch is Neapolitan and paired with the estate's wines.
