Penedès Vineyard E-Bike or Mountain Bike Small Group Day Trip with 2 Wineries
This small group tour lasts about 7.5 hours and is about how wine and cava are made, taught from the saddle. The guide meets the group in central Barcelona, and a 50-minute bus ride (the ticket is paid separately) leads to the agency in Vilafranca del Penedès, a quiet Catalan town. There each person picks up a Premium Scott mountain bike, or an electric bike, and rides out among the vines. The Montserrat massif, the most sacred mountain of Catalonia, is in view along the way. The route follows some of the best wine roads in the Penedès region and stops at two wineries, including an authentic family-owned one. The day includes two premium tastings of organic wines and cavas.
