Pagus Wine Tours Half-Day Soave and Amarone Tour from Verona: Walled Town and Two Wineries
Soave is Verona's best-known white and Amarone della Valpolicella its best-known red. This half-day Pagus Wine Tours outing, about 4.5 hours long, puts both in the glass at two wineries: one in the Soave region, one in Valpolicella. The first stretch follows the Soave wine route through the hills. The tasting there covers Soave DOC, Soave Superiore DOCG, Recioto di Soave DOCG and a sparkling Soave. The second stretch crosses into Valpolicella, where the tasting runs through the DOC and DOCG range: Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto, each in its own style.
