The day lasts about 7 hours and leaves Verona at 9:00 am. It covers two wineries, and between them the whole DOC and DOCG range of Valpolicella gets poured: Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto. Having two producers makes it easy to compare styles, and the people behind each label are there to answer questions. The road runs through hills covered in vineyards. Lunch closes the morning, taken in an enoteca or a typical local osteria, with traditional Valpolicella cooking, before the return to Verona.
