Wait on Loftus Street beside the Obelisk of Distances in Macquarie Place Park, at the corner of Loftus and Bridge Streets, at least 15 minutes before the 7.45 AM departure.

  1. Iron Gate Estate

    A boutique, award-winning winery in Pokolbin. The home vineyard grows Hunter whites (Semillon, Chardonnay and Verdelho) as well as Shiraz, Cabernet, Tempranillo and Albarino.

  2. Sobel's Winery

    A behind-the-scenes look at how the winery makes its wines, then a guided tasting.

  3. Lunch at Hunter Valley Resort

    Free time for lunch at Hunter Valley Resort (at own expense), followed by a wine tasting.

  4. FAR Distilling

    A small, family-owned distillery making gins from Australian native plants, and a limoncello. Tasting comes with country hospitality.

  5. Pokolbin Estate Vineyard

    A relaxed tasting of local varietals paired with chocolate. Afterwards, the local Olive Centre sells first-press olive oil, olives, dukkah, jams, chutneys and chilli products.
