Hunter Valley Grains and Grapes Day Tour from Sydney: Wine, Cheese, Spirits, Lunch
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Hunter ValleyThis day tour heads a few hours north of Sydney into the Hunter Valley for wine, cheese and spirits tastings, with lunch in the middle of the day. The Grains & Grapes format leaves room for different palates. At a few stops you can swap to local beer, or stay with wine and finish on chocolate. The guide, one of the Daves who run the company, aims to get you behind the scenes. Every tour includes a vineyard, a winery or both, so you see where the drinks come from and meet the people making them. The route sticks to small family-run wineries, which means talking with locals about what goes into each glass. Because the producers are small, the vehicles are usually 12 to 22 seats, driver included.
