Hunter Valley
A day built around chocolate, cheese and award-winning wine. The winery stops cover the history of winemaking in the Hunter Valley, from some of the oldest estates to the next generation, with panoramic views of the wide, shallow valley and walks among the vines. Lunch is included at one of the Hunter's best-loved restaurants, with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. The Hunter Valley Chocolate Company or a local cheese maker rounds out the tasting.
Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard
The first stop is one of the region's most historic vineyards, with rows of vines reaching across the valley to the horizon. The first guided tasting of Hunter Valley wine happens here.
Mount Pleasant Wines
Mount Pleasant Wines (or similar) is one of the Hunter Valley's most storied wineries. A curated tasting covers its estate-grown and single-vineyard wines, including Australia's oldest Pinot Noir, tasted while looking at the vines that produce it.
Hunter Valley
A premium two-course lunch with local red and white wines chosen to match each dish. The venue is voco Kirkton Park Hotel, a country manor and one of the valley's most scenic dining rooms (or similar).
Hunter Valley Chocolate Company
The sweet stop of the day, with a chocolate tasting at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company.
