Gambino Winery Tasting on Etna from Taormina: Four Wines and a Sicilian Aperitif
This afternoon trip from Taormina heads up Etna's slopes to a family-owned winery. On the way it passes the Sicilian villages of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, reaching a height of 800 meters above sea level. At the winery, guests learn how the regional wine is produced and taste four different wines. A small aperitif goes with them: preserved vegetables, a selection of Sicilian cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, bread and local olive oil. The group returns to the Taormina area in the late afternoon. The tour is conducted in English, French and Italian only.
