Full-Day Champagne Tour: Mumm Cellars in Reims, Winery Lunch, Hautvillers, Family Grower

A full day that begins in Reims at 9:20 AM, in front of the tourist office at Cour de la Gare, 51100 Reims, and ends at 5:20 PM. The morning goes underground, into the cellars of the Mumm house, one of the best-known names in Champagne. Lunch follows at a local winery, with a selection of champagnes matched to the food. In the afternoon the route reaches Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, for a walk through its streets and a visit to the abbey where Dom Pérignon worked. The last stop is a local producer: a guided visit of the estate and three tastings, to compare the different styles of champagne in the region.
