Full-Day Bellet Wine Tour with Three Wineries and Saint-Paul-de-Vence Lunch Stop from Nice
Bellet is one of the secret appellations: locals love it, and few people outside the area know it. A wine guide leads the day and tells the story of the region and its heritage. The hills look out over the Mediterranean and Cap d'Antibes, with the snow-covered foothills of the Alps behind. The wineries on the route are the ones that keep a long winemaking tradition going. Free time in Saint-Paul-de-Vence breaks up the day. The medieval village became famous through the artists who lived there, and it has cobbled streets and views over the Mediterranean.

French Riviera Wine Tours
The guide introduces the Bellet appellation and its heritage, and the tour visits wineries that preserve a long winemaking tradition. After a morning given to this unusual wine region, there is free time in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a medieval village made famous by its resident artists. Cobbled streets and views of the Mediterranean make it memorable, and lunch is taken there. The afternoon is spent at a family-owned winery whose methods draw on ancestral winemaking. The wines that result taste unlike others, and the visit closes a relaxed, educational day about French Riviera wines. The English-speaking wine guide meets the group at 9am at a central meeting point in Nice and drives a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned minivan that takes up to 8 people. Around 9.30am the group reaches Bellet, north of Nice. The day has 2 wineries in the morning, about 1h30 of free time for lunch in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and a 3rd winery in the afternoon. Whites, dry rosés and well-balanced reds are tasted along the way. The group is back in Nice around 4.45pm, at the starting point. The wineries differ in how they work, and partnerships give access behind the scenes, from the winemaking and ageing rooms to the bottling lines. The guide also covers soil, climate, grape varieties and terroir, plus picking, pruning and green harvesting, in a relaxed way.
