Two Etna wineries, one relaxed day. The vineyards are walked on foot, with the volcano in view and a sea breeze that, in the operator's words, helps shape the wines. Nothing is rushed. The first winery pours four Etna wines with local products: cheeses, vegetables and cold cuts. The second winery serves lunch, and its wines are chosen to go with the food. Between the two, the route visits the craters of the 1669 eruption and the church buried by that lava flow.
