Etna Morning Tour from Catania: Lava Cave, Crater Trek, 1992 Lava Front and Winery Tasting
A morning tour from Catania that covers several of the places that define Etna's volcanic terrain. The route passes the Catania waterfront and the sea stacks of Acitrezza, then climbs onto the mountain for a lava flow cave, a trek on an old crater, the Valle del Bove and the front of the 1991-1993 lava flow. The tour ends with a tasting at one of the old, well-known wineries on Etna's east side, which the group chooses together. The wine tasting is not included in the price and is paid separately, at a cost that varies with the winery and the package chosen.
