Diadema Super Tuscan Tasting in Impruneta: Winery Tour, Olive Mill and Olive Oil

Diadema Winery is 15 minutes from the center of Florence, and the visit covers three things: the winery, an olive mill, and a tasting of both wine and oil. A guide leads the whole way. The visit starts in the historic winery, with explanations of winemaking history, fermentation and aging. Next comes Frantoio Villa l'Olmo, where olives are still pressed with granite millstones in the traditional way, and the process is shown and explained. The tasting closes the visit in a panoramic spot looking over the Tuscan hills. It covers five Diadema IGT Super Tuscan wines and two extra virgin olive oils, with terracotta part of the story alongside the wine and oil.
