The day follows Chile's Pacific Coast. It starts in Viña del Mar, a seaside city with a coastline and ocean views, with time by the shore and a lunch stop at a seafood restaurant overlooking the Pacific, paid separately. The route continues to Valparaíso, the colorful port city known as the Jewel of the Pacific, for its artistic hills and streets. On the way back, a boutique vineyard in the Casablanca Valley is run by a local couple as a family project. It stands beside a 300-year-old molle tree, and its wine is made by hand in a traditional way, bottle by bottle. The tasting is small, and the hosts tell the story behind each glass.
