Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and Casablanca Wine Tasting Day Trip from Santiago
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
SantiagoThis full-day trip from Santiago covers two coastal cities and one wine valley. In Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the route runs through the historic port and its colorful houses, then up and down the hills past old elevators, painted stairways, sea viewpoints and graffiti by local and international artists. Viña del Mar is seen along the seafront. The wine stop is at a vineyard in the Casablanca Valley, where the wines are tasted and can be bought in the store at sale prices. A Chilean-style lunch among the vineyards is available at own expense. The day ends back in Santiago, with drop-off at the accommodation. Travelers on a cruise ship can ask for drop-off at the port instead, in which case the winery stop is skipped.
