  1. Suider Paarl

Suider Paarl (Southern Paarl) is a quiet suburb of the wider Paarl region, at the foot of Paarl Mountain, with a countryside feel.

  2. Fairview Wine and Cheese

Wine with cheese at Fairview, the last tasting of the day.

    Costo extra

  3. Marianne Wine Estate

After hotel pickup, the route runs north-east out of Cape Town past some of South Africa's best-known townships, with talk of local daily life; these townships are also the birthplace of the tour's local artist. After Stellenbosch, the first tasting is at Marianne, where red wine is paired with biltong, South Africa's dried cured meat.

    Costo extra

  4. Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in the country, known for its vineyards, Cape Dutch architecture and Stellenbosch University. Whitewashed, thatched buildings with ornate gables survive here, and the town has galleries, museums and cultural events. Oak trees line the streets, a reminder of the colonial past. Church Street has some of the oldest architecture in the Southern Hemisphere.
