Hoplita Winery Tour in Logroño's Old Town: Four Wines in a Former Palace

Hoplita is the only winery in La Rioja that makes wine inside the historic center of Logroño. It occupies the former palace of the Conde de Murillo y Bornos and has more than 500 years of history in the city. The group meets at its entrance at the scheduled time. The guide explains how winemaking works here, how the winery managed to produce 20,000 liters of wine in the 18th century, and what characterizes the grapes harvested from its vineyards. The visit also covers the barrel aging and bottling areas. The tasting takes place in the barrel room: four wines, two white and two red, with an aperitif of regional La Rioja products.
