TOJO Family Winery in Santo Stefano Belbo: Pavese Hills Walk and Five-Wine Tasting

Piedmont & LiguriaThe visit starts on foot. The family leads a slow walk to its panoramic viewpoint among the vines. From there the hills are the ones Cesare Pavese wrote about, and the hosts tell the history of the land and of the author. The group then returns to the winery for a guided tour of the winemaking process, with the story of the family and its work. The visit closes with a tasting of five of the family's wines. Questions are welcome, and the tasting is run as a shared table rather than a lecture.
