Taylor's Lisbon Port Wine Tasting: White, LBV and Tawny with Pastel de Nata or Chocolate
The tasting is held at Taylor's, a Port house founded in 1692 and one of the oldest in the world. The setting is designed with care and carries the house's long tradition. This is not a standard pour. The session follows three Port styles in turn, so the differences in profile, ageing and winemaking can be tasted side by side: a fresh White Port, a rich LBV and a 10-Year-Old Tawny. A food pairing comes with the glasses. Guests choose between a traditional Pastel de Nata and artisanal Vinte Vinte chocolate, both of which bring out the wines and add a Portuguese touch. It suits anyone new to Port. The format is relaxed and approachable, and it mixes storytelling, a bit of teaching and plenty of tasting.
