Simonsig
Simonsig, in Stellenbosch, is one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa and well known for Methode Cap Classique (MCC), the local sparkling wine made by the traditional French method. The stop has a cellar tour, sabrage and a wine tasting, with South African biltong and dry wors.
Mitre's Edge Wine Estate
A private wine and cheese pairing with the winemakers, in their home, dining room and cellar.
Middelvlei
Middelvlei Estate, known for its hospitality and farm atmosphere: a wine tasting, a barrel tasting and a traditional South African lunch, a gourmet braai.

Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch is a university town in the Western Cape, surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the Jonkershoek and Simonsberg nature reserves. Its oak-shaded streets have cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Cape Dutch architecture and the Village Museum's period houses and gardens recall the Dutch colonial past.
