The van leaves from central Bordeaux and covers both banks in a day. The first half is Saint-Émilion: a guided walk through the village and its historical monuments (the village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site), then a first château, where three wines are tasted to show what sets the Saint-Émilion appellation apart. Lunch is a picnic inside the château, made of local artisanal products. The afternoon moves to Margaux. The van stops in front of the famous Château Margaux for a photo, then continues to a Margaux Grand Cru Classé château for a tasting of three wines. The group is small, which leaves room to ask the guide questions. The day covers the two main wine regions of Bordeaux.
