San FranciscoA relaxed all-day trip from San Francisco to Sonoma Valley, led by a guide who talks about the region along the way. The group is limited to 12 people and visits three boutique wineries, about an hour at each. Tasting fees at every winery are included. On the way there the route crosses the Golden Gate Bridge. Lunch is taken in the historic town of Sonoma, where the square has plenty of restaurants to choose from; anyone curious can walk over to Mission San Francisco Solano. The return makes a stop in Sausalito and another at the Golden Gate Bridge.

3301 Lyon St, San Francisco
The Palace of Fine Arts, at the corner of Bay and Lyon Streets, is the last pick-up in San Francisco. Without a confirmed hotel pick-up, be here at 8:55am, before the group leaves the city.
Golden Gate Bridge
Hotel pick-up in downtown San Francisco is at 9am. The group crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and drives north, with San Francisco's history told along the way. The format is small and laid-back, built for travelers who want to meet people and learn a little. Schedule: 8:30-9am: Hotel pick-ups 10am-noon: Sonoma Valley wine tastings (fees included) Noon-1pm: Lunch stop at Historic Sonoma Square 1-3pm: More wine tasting (fees included) 4pm: Sausalito and Golden Gate Bridge 4:30-5pm: Hotel drop-offs

One of three boutique wineries visited in Sonoma, with local varietals and blends to taste and a host who explains what makes the area a major wine region. Wineries may include Peter Cellars, Homewood Winery, Wellington Cellars, Seamus Wines, BR Cohn and Mayo Family Winery, and can change with availability.
Sonoma Plaza
Lunch is at your own expense in downtown Sonoma. The plaza has many restaurants, boutiques and gourmet shops, and the historic mission, part of one of California's oldest settlements, is close by.

Wineries may include Peter Cellars, Homewood Winery, Wellington Cellars, Seamus Wines, BR Cohn and Mayo Family Winery, and can change with availability.

Sausalito Boardwalk
A short stop in the seaside village of Sausalito on the way back. Guests can stay and take a cruise across the bay to San Francisco (ferry not included in the tour price). The tour then makes a last stop for views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, with drop-off between 4:30 and 5pm.
