San FranciscoThis full-day bus tour leaves San Francisco, crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and heads into two wine regions. The day includes tastings at wineries in Napa and Sonoma, among them Castello di Amorosa and Artesa Winery, where premium wines come with charcuterie and chocolates. Lunch is part of the day, with free time in Sonoma Square Plaza for those who choose that option. Downtown Napa is another optional stop. The route back over the Golden Gate Bridge gives a second look at the bay.

Gray Line Fisherman's Wharf departure point, 2805 Leavenworth St. Arrive by 8:45 AM to check in. The bus departs at 9:00 AM. There is no physical office; wait at Pomegranate Café, directly across the street, and a representative will find you.

Union Square departure point, 478 Post St. Arrive by 8:25 AM to check in. The bus departs at 8:40 AM. There is no physical office; Encore Café is right next door. To board, cross the street and meet the representative.
San Francisco Bay
The bay opens up on the drive out, with views from the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge. Alcatraz, the former prison island, sits in the middle of the water. The day starts here with Gray Line San Francisco.
Golden Gate Bridge
After crossing the bridge, there is a chance to stop for photos at Golden Gate North Vista Point. The viewpoint looks back at the bridge, Alcatraz Island and the San Francisco skyline.
Sausalito
Shortly after the bridge, the route passes the Mediterranean-style hillside homes of this seaside town.
Roche Winery
The first tasting is at Roche, a family boutique winery with over 35 years of award-winning winemaking. Its list includes vineyard-designate wines, varietals and blends, served with the family's down-to-earth Irish hospitality. The Sonoma tasting room has daily barrel tastings, indoor and outdoor tasting bars, light bites and a shaded patio with fireplaces. Not included in the Exclusive Wine & Food Tour.
Artesa Vineyards & Winery
Industry insiders have named Artesa one of the best Napa Valley wineries to visit right now. The avant-garde winery sits on more than 150 acres of hills planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Wines are tasted here, and the hillside views of the valley make good photo stops.
Sonoma Plaza
Only on the Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Tour. Free time for lunch on streets lined with cafés, restaurants and shops. One more winery follows lunch to close the day.
Madonna Estate
Family-owned Napa Valley wines, handcrafted for nearly a century from 100 percent organically grown grapes in the Carneros region. The wines sold here are not found in any retail store. Not included in the Exclusive Wine & Food Tour.
Golden Gate Bridge
The bus crosses the Golden Gate Bridge again on the way back to San Francisco, with another look at the Bay Area before the drop-off.
