Prosecco Hills Day Trip by Train from Venice with Yellowboot, Two Wineries and Viewpoint
Giulia and Carlo run Yellowboot.it, a small local operator based in the Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site. They have more than 10 years in the travel industry and know the Veneto region well. This day trip is the area's first and best reviewed, and it visits two local wineries. At each one the tasting comes with local salami and cheese, in a setting that overlooks the hills. The day also includes a viewpoint stop for photos. The train from Venice to Conegliano is part of the plan, so the day starts at the station and ends there.

Venice
The meeting point is outside Conegliano train station. Train tickets from Venice station to Conegliano are included and arrive by email the day before. One email address and the names of all participants are needed.

Take the 9am train from Venice to Conegliano station, where Carlo meets the group.
Prosecco Hills - World Heritage Site
The first winery makes DOCG Prosecco from old vine varieties. A look at how Prosecco is made comes with 4 wine tastings and a light lunch of cheese and salami.
Conegliano
A second Prosecco DOCG winery offers a tasting of 4 wines, with an explanation of the varieties and production methods, and a light lunch of local products.
Prosecco Hills - World Heritage Site
One of the best viewpoints over the Prosecco Hills is the last stop, for photos. The group then returns to Conegliano for the train back at about 2.30 pm.
