San FranciscoThis small-group day trip leaves San Francisco, crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and spends the day at two Napa wineries: Castello di Amorosa and Artesa Winery. At each one the guide covers how the wine is made, and the tastings add up to 4-5 premium wines. Charcuterie goes with the wines at the castle, chocolates with the ones at Artesa. Between the two wineries there is a photo stop at the Welcome to Napa Valley sign and free time in downtown Napa, enough to sit down for lunch or look through the boutique shops.

Golden Gate Bridge
The day starts with the drive out of San Francisco and across the Golden Gate Bridge, the first stretch of the road north into California wine country.
Castello di Amorosa
The first winery is Castello di Amorosa, a castle winery that ranks among the most visited castles in the world. Guests get 45 minutes to walk through its halls and grounds, then a one-hour tasting of the estate's wines served with charcuterie.
Welcome To Napa Valley Sign (South)
A short stop for photos at the Welcome to Napa Valley sign, on the way into the valley.
Napa Valley
Downtown Napa is the free-time stop. There is time to have lunch at one of the local restaurants and to browse boutique shops for wine and souvenirs.
Artesa Vineyards & Winery
The afternoon stop is Artesa Winery, known for a modern building set among the vineyards. The guide explains the winemaking process, and the tasting pairs four locally grown wines with premium chocolates. The group then drives back to San Francisco, arriving around 6 PM.
