San FranciscoA full-day trip from San Francisco to the vineyards of Napa and Sonoma, capped at 12 people. The day mixes tastings, history and photo stops, and suits wine lovers as well as first-time visitors. The skyline photo stop is at Treasure Island, a spot the source calls the locals' secret selfie place. Artesa Winery pours award-winning wines in an ultra-modern estate that won the 2018 AIA Architecture Award. Sonoma Plaza is left open for lunch, from Michelin-starred tables to picnic benches. An optional tasting at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards brings Tuscan-style surroundings, California grapes and olive oil. The day ends at Battery Spencer, the overlook above the Golden Gate Bridge.

San Francisco
A scenic ride through San Francisco's neighborhoods, past cable cars and pastel Victorians, with a guide on board. Fog may make a cameo, known locally as Karl the Fog. 8:45-9:00 AM: Departure from San Francisco.
Treasure Island
9:30 AM. Stop of 15 minutes, admission free. An under-the-radar spot with panoramic views of the city skyline and the Bay Bridge, popular with locals showing visitors around.
Jacuzzi Family Vineyards
10:30 AM. Stop of 1 hour, admission included. A Tuscan-style estate from the Jacuzzi family with bold reds, olive oil tastings and an Italian-feeling courtyard. From 01/01/2027 the stop is Roche Winery instead.
Sonoma Plaza
12:00 PM. Stop of 2 hours, admission free. The largest town square in California, with adobe buildings, tasting rooms and places to eat, from gourmet bites to empanadas. A picnic under the trees is an option.
Artesa Vineyards & Winery
2:30 PM. Stop of 1 hour, admission included. Artesa won the AIA Architecture Award in 2018 and is voted for its views. Set in Napa Valley, it belongs to the Raventos Codorniu group of Spain, whose winemaking dates back to 1551.
Battery Spencer
4:00 PM. Stop of 25 minutes, admission free. A cliffside viewpoint over the Golden Gate Bridge, in fog or sun.
San Francisco
5:30 PM. Back in San Francisco, in time for dinner.
