Saint-Émilion Day Trip from Bordeaux: Monolithic Church, Trinity Chapel, Grand Cru Tasting

In Saint-Émilion the group walks through the historic center, a World Heritage Site. The first stop is the Trinity Chapel, which mixes Romanesque and Gothic architecture and has medieval paintings on its walls. Next comes the Monolithic Church, an underground church carved into the rock by more than 50 monks. The visit goes down into its catacombs, among tall vaults and pillars. The last stop is a local winery, for a tasting of 3 Grand Cru wines with regional cold cuts. The winery visit covers how the wine is made and where these wines come from.
